While there are different archetypes and explanations to them, in this post, we explore archetypes based on how people invest and how their habits towards money.
The adventurous
The witty
The adaptable
The anxious
The frugal
The spontaneous
The Adventurous: Would readily jump on investment trends without proper research and due diligence. What an adventurous person needs is proper financial knowledge. This person understands why saving and investing are important. What is needed is some grounded knowledge on research and proper due diligence.
The witty: would carefully conduct research and due diligence before taking any decision. A witty person has to take action and avoid becoming anxious.
The adaptable: Adjusts budget and takes financial decisions based on the current realities.
The anxious: Overthinks everything and ends up not doing anything due to analysis paralysis. This person needs to stick to their guns and trust the process. Don’t overthink. Take the jump once your thesis is proven right by your research and due diligence. Don’t jump ship when at the first sign of danger.
The frugal: meticulous in keeping and following a budget. Takes account of the value before making any decision. This person sometimes needs to stop penny-pinching. Live a little happier. Buying that cup of coffee won’t make you poor. Have fun and YOLO once in a while.
The spontaneous: Lives paycheck to paycheck. Living in the moment. No assets, just vibes. This person needs to learn to budget properly -can have a budget for fun, save, and invest simultaneously. Try to apply brakes when you go on a spending spree.
What is your archetype?
You don’t have to be neatly packed into one. And there are no wrong answers.
For example, I am witty with a touch of spontaneous. I am currently in my spontaneous phase. Living on vibes.
